Trust is massively important to businesses, but it sometimes gets overlooked. So why is trust important, and why should you care about it? Trust is a huge factor in building relations with clients, if people trust you they are more likely to be cooperative and open with you. This helps to build brilliant friendships and have the client coming back time and time again, as well as telling their family and friends all about you. Where at the other end of the scale - if a client doesn’t think you are trustworthy they won’t allow you look after the sale/let of their property, simple as that.
So how does a business portray trust without knowing the potential client?
A business can portray trust in many ways, but the most important and easiest way of doing so is by being transparent. Being transparent doesn’t mean you tell them everything about your business, but things that matter to them. Things like a transparent pricing scheme, be up front and open with your costs, make it super simple for people to understand. Or maybe using an independent review/testimonial site - hosting them on your own site is not the way to go as people know these can be easily faked, even if they are genuine, you are the one who decides what goes up or not and you aren’t going to post a 1 star review are you? An independent verified review site should check every single review for fakes and not allow them on site, like raterAgent.
How do we portray trust at raterAgent?
At raterAgent we portray trust by being completely open about how we check our reviews, and we inform people of which agents are paying and which aren’t, and how much they are paying. This shows that price doesn’t matter to us and everyone’s reviews still go through the same rigorous checking process no matter if they are on our free package or paying us.
Agents on our site can use a free package we offer called BASIC, this allows agents to respond to reviews, add a logo, description and edit information. We don’t think these things should be behind a paywall, and should be easily accessible. To get this simply create an account, find your branch, and claim it - that’s it.
